Simple character setup in Blender

Thought it might be useful to post a simple animated character setup. You can download the .blend file in the Downloads section
Blender character setup You can use this character setup as a basis for your own motion cycles. Blender is available from http://blender.org.

Isometric Tile Editor

More work done on the editor, and a fair bit of work behind the scenes.

Iso Editor Screenshot 2 This is the GTK 'Control Panel' for the tile Editor. I have added editable player coords, and a 'Run' menu. Here you can turn the event loop on or off.
Iso Editor Screenshot 2 The SDL 'Map Window' - nothing much new here, except actors can now appear.

'Walking character' sprite

Not a 'screenshot' as such, but an example of a prototype 'walking character' sprite, rendered in Blender

Isometric Tile Editor

The screenshots below show a quite functional but preliminary version of the editing tools. All the tiles are quick hacks and do not fit with my intended style, but i needed something to work with while I developed the editor/engine.

Iso Editor Screenshot 1 The SDL 'Map Window' - this shows the current map, and with the disabling of the GTK GUI, will also be the 'Game' window

Basic Game Framework

The screenshots below show a prototype game engine which I put together to get an idea of how I would approach the larger game. It is quite useful by itself, and could be used pretty much as-is to implement 'walk around and find items to progress' type adventure games.
